Join us for an engaging webinar that builds on the lively discussions from the “Now You Are Speaking My Language” panel at the 2024 Conference of European Network of Science Centres and Museums (ECSITE).

This webinar will open with short presentations from seven museum professionals and researchers on museum translation. This will be followed by a panel discussion exploring the challenges and strategies in presenting different languages in the museum space.

Whether you are a museum practitioner, translator, researcher, educator, or student in museum and translation studies, this webinar offers an exciting discussion on multilingual practices in museums.

Participants are required to register for the event in advance. We also welcome your questions on museum translation and the use of languages in museums. Please email your questions to the event organiser Dr Min-Hsiu Liao (m.liao@hw.ac.uk)
